1 2/3 c. butter
3 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 box vanilla instant pudding (1/4 c.)
3 3/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Beat together butter, eggs, sugars, vanilla, and pudding; add flour and soda. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Dough will be stiff. Drop by rounded teaspoons on cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees until golden. Do not over bake.
