"TASSIES"
 

Petit four or miniature paper cups
6 oz. softened cream cheese
1/2 lb. softened sweet butter
2 c. flour
3 eggs, slightly beaten

Mixture:
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. melted butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional) or any jam may be used as filling

Cream butter and cream cheese. Add flour gradually mixing until you have a soft dough. Line shells with balls of dough, press dough into the shape of the shell. Mix egg yolks, brown sugar, melted butter and vanilla. Add optional nuts if desired. Fill the shells 3/4 full with the above mixture or jelly. Bake in preheated oven 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar while warm. Delicious!! Makes 5 dozen.
