1 pkg. Jiffy yellow cake mix
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. corn syrup
1/4 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 egg
1 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. flour

In small bowl, blend all ingredients well. Spread in greased 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

I usually double the recipe and use 13 x 9 inch pan. Any kind of cake mix can be used to vary the recipe - I often use chocolate!
