1 pkg. Jiffy cake mix (white or yellow)
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. melted butter
1 tbsp. corn syrup
1/4 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 egg

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8"x8"x2" pan. In small bowl, blend all ingredients well. Spread in pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Cool, cut in squares. May use coconut in place of chocolate chips.
