1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 egg 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and egg until fluffy. Add flour and baking powder. Blend until well mixed. Chill dough for 2 hours or overnight. Roll out on a lightly floured surface, 1/8 inch thick. Cut with a cookie cutter. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees until lightly browned, about 10 minutes. Cool before storing. |
