CHOCOLATE GRASSHOPPER BROWNIES
 

1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream sugar, eggs, butter, and vanilla together. Stir in syrup. Add flour and salt. Add nuts. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes; cool.

MINT LAYER:

1/2 c. butter
2 c. confectioners sugar
2 tbsp. green Creme De Menthe liqueur

Combine butter, confectioners sugar and Creme De Menthe. Beat to spreading consistency. Frost brownies. Chill for several hours.

FROSTING:

1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
6 tbsp. butter

Combine chocolate chips and butter in saucepan; melt and blend. Cool slightly. Spread evenly over mint layer. Cool and cut into 1 inch squares. Brownies may be frozen.
