1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 lg. can pineapple diced with juice
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Chill dough 1 hour. Put on ungreased cookie sheet by teaspoon. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
