SOUR CREAM BANANA BARS
 

1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
1 c. mashed ripe bananas (3 med.)
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. self-rising flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees (if not using microwave). Grease bottom of two 9 inch pans.

Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients in order listed. Mix well by hand with wooden spoon. Spread in prepared pan. Bake 20-25 minutes in 350 degree oven or microwave on 60% power for 12 minutes, turn once half-way through. Cool in pan. Cut into squares. Makes 48.

GLAZE:

1/4 c. melted butter
2 c. confectioners' sugar
3 tbsp. milk

Combine all the ingredients and stir until smooth. Pour over bars.

Microwave Tips: When done surface will spring back when touched lightly.
