1/2 c. softened butter
1/3 c. all purpose flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. lemon juice
Confectioners sugar

Mix first 3 ingredients on low mixer speed until blended, about 1 minute. Pat into ungreased 8 inch square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are brown.

FILLING: Mix next 5 ingredients (NOT confectioners sugar) and beat 1 minute with mixer. Pour on partially baked crust and bake 18-20 minutes or until set. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Cool. Makes 16 bars.
