6 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Grated pecans (optional)
Small bag chocolate chips

Cream first 8 ingredients and chill. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Cut candy bars into 8 slices and press 1 slice into each cookie ball. Cover candy by wrapping dough around it. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. When cool melt chips and ice cookies. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
