TODDLER FINGER FOODS
 

We all know that very young children should never be given foods that are small, hard, or slippery. Also make sure that any heated foods are cooled almost completely before serving.

Nutty 'nanners: Cut a banana in half lengthwise, and spread each half with a thin layer of peanut butter. Top with some chopped raisins, the put the halves back together. Cut into bite size pieces.

Deviled eggs.

Fruit-filled bar cookies, cut into pieces.

Toasted cheese sandwiches cut into squares, triangles, or other shapes.

Cooked individual frozen pizzas, cut into small wedges.

Toasted miniature waffles, spread with peanut butter.

Snack mix of your child's favorite ready-to-eat cereals.

Bite-size pieces of canned peaches and pears.

Soft little cookies, shortbread's, or even Zwieback.

Cream-cheese and jelly sandwiches cut into squares, triangles or other shapes.

Baked spiral or plain cut French-fried potatoes.
