CHEVRE' EN CROUTE
 

8 oz. plain or herbed chevre' (goat cheese)
4 to 6 sheets of filo pastry
Melted butter

Place chevre in center of 2 filo sheets. Wrap carefully and seal with warm water. Repeat, in order to provide an airtight closure. Brush with melted butter, place in center of metal pan. Place in center of oven preheated to 350 degrees. Bake until golden brown. Serve with apple or pear slices.
