1/2 to 1 fresh tomato per person 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese Olive oil Fresh basil 2 to 3 cloves minced garlic or garlic powder Salt and pepper to taste Slice tomatoes and cheese about 1/4 inch. Layer on platter or individual salad plates alternating, tomato, cheese, tomato, etc. Drizzle olive oil over top. Add garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with basil. Serve with Italian bread. |
