5 lbs. frozen wing pieces (par-boiled)
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. soy sauce
1.5oz. Southern Comfort Whiskey
1 teaspoon garlic powder (or to taste)
1 teaspoon ground ginger (or to taste)
Par-boil the wings and let cool while preparing sauce. Mix all other ingredients in a medium sauce pan and slowly bring to a boil. Do not leave unattended as this will boil over. Reduce to simmer and continue stirring until sauce thickens a little.
Arrange wings in a large foil pan in single layer. Pour sauce over wings and place on center rack in a preheated 450°F oven. Stir every 15 minutes until wings are dark and gooey!
ENJOY!
