BEEF, MACARONI, CHEESE CASSEROLE
 

1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion
Salt
Pepper
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
4 tbsp. butter
5 tbsp. flour
2 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 lb. macaroni
3 eggs
1 c. milk
1 c. bread crumbs

Brown the beef, onion, salt, pepper and cinnamon. Cook and drain macaroni. While macaroni is cooking, make a white sauce with butter, flour, milk and cheese. Put 1/2 the macaroni in a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Add all the meat. Add the other 1/2 of macaroni. Beat the eggs with milk and pour into casserole. Spoon white sauce over top. Sprinkle with more Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees for one hour. Cool slightly. Cut into squares.
