SEAFOOD CASSEROLE

16 oz. egg noodles or other pasta
2 cans cream of chicken soup or any other type preferred
2 c. milk or substitute 1 c. mayonnaise for 1 c. milk
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. dill spice
2 (6 oz.) cans tuna, drained and flaked
1 can sliced mushrooms (optional)
Crunchy topping: potato chips, French fried onions, etc.

Cook noodles or pasta and drain. In saucepan, combine soup, milk (mayonnaise), and tuna. Stir in cheese, mushrooms and spice; dill is good. Add cooked noodles or pasta. Pour into a buttered 2-quart casserole. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Top with crunchy topping and bake 5 minutes more. (Experiment with different pasta, meats, cheeses, soups, and spices.)
