2 lbs. ground beef 1 pkg. onion soup mix 1 can mushroom soup 2 c. water 1/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese 1 pkg. Noodles Brown ground beef and drain excess fat. Add onion soup mix, mushroom soup and water. Bring to a boil, add mushrooms and simmer for ten minutes. Cook noodles. In a 13 x 9 inch buttered baking dish, arrange layer of meat mixture, noodles, shredded cheese; using only half of each. Repeat layers and end with cheese. Bake at 375 degrees, covered 35 to 45 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes and serve. |
