1 (8 oz.) pkg. macaroni 1/4 c. butter 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 c. diced leftover ham 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese Cook macaroni according to directions on package. Melt butter in saucepan and add tomato sauce, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Simmer 10 minutes. Add ham and 3/4 cup of the cheese. Heat until cheese melts. Stir in cooked, drained macaroni. Pour into greased 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 5 to 6. |
