BEEF CASSEROLE
 

1 whole chuck roast (2 1/2 to 3 lbs.)
1 pkg. of Lipton onion soup mix, dry
1 can of Campbells golden mushroom soup
1 lg. can of sliced mushrooms
1 lg. can of Franco American beef gravy
3/4 c. of cooking sherry
1 c. of water
1 pkg. of wide noodles, 2 pkgs. if serving more than 4 people

Trim all fat off the chuck roast and cut into bite size pieces (cubes). Place chuck roast into a 4 quart casserole dish. Add package of Lipton onion soup mix, 1 can of golden mushroom soup, 1 can of mushrooms, 1 can of beef gravy, 3/4 cup of cooking sherry and 1 cup of water.

Cover with aluminum foil. Cook in oven at 350 degrees for 3 hours. Serve over wide noodles.
