4 bananas 1 lg. can crushed pineapple 1 box yellow cake mix 2 pkgs. instant vanilla pudding 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese 1 lg. Cool Whip 1 c. coconut 1 c. nuts 1 bottle cherries Mix cake according to directions, adding 1 pudding mix plus 1/2 cup extra water. Bake. While cake is baking boil pineapple and 2 cups sugar for a few minutes. When cake is done pour hot pineapple mixture over cake (punch holes in cake). Let set. Mix 1 pudding mix according to directions, adding cream cheese; beat until smooth. Put over pineapple layer on cake. Slice 4 bananas over this, then add Cool Whip, nuts and chopped maraschino cherries. Keep in refrigerator. |
