2 unbeaten egg whites 6 tbsp. cold water Few grains salt 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar Combine the above ingredients, blending thoroughly in top of double boiler over briskly boiling water. Immediately beat with electric beater until frosting stands in stiff peaks, approximately 7 minutes. Slowly beat in 1 cup miniature marshmallows until melted. Remove from heat, add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Frost cake, and sprinkle with 1 can coconut or chocolate jimmies. |
