Prepare one small box of chocolate pudding as directed on box (not instant). Add to one box chocolate cake mix (dry). Spread in greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Sprinkle a heavy layer of chocolate chips and chopped nuts, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
