1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 (1 lb.) box white raisins
1 (1 lb.) box chopped dates
1 lb. mixed gum drops
1 lb. orange slices, cut into sm. pieces
2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. applesauce
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice or cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. soda mixed in 4 tbsp. warm water
3 1/2 - 4 c. flour

Mix well and bake in tube pan for 1 1/2 hours until done. Bake at 300 degrees. Makes large cake.
