2 c. sugar 2 cubes butter (1/2 lb.) 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. sifted flour 1 c. water 4 tbsp. cocoa 1/2 c. sour cream 2 eggs 1 tsp. soda Mix sugar, flour and salt. Bring butter, water and cocoa to a boil. Take from heat immediately. To dry ingredients add sour cream, eggs and soda. Mix all together; batter will be very thin. Pour into greased and floured jello roll size pan, 10 1/2 x 15 1/2 inches. Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees. Do not overbake. (Ice while warm.) ICING: 1 box powdered sugar 1 cube butter 4 tbsp. cocoa 6 tbsp. milk 1 tsp. vanilla Boil milk, butter, cocoa until bubbly; add powdered sugar, vanilla. Beat until smooth. Add nuts. Spread on cake while warm. |
