2 c. graham cracker crumbs 3/4 c. chopped pecans 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed 1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 3/4 c. butter, melted 1 c. water 1 pkg. yellow cake mix (USE DRY) 1/4 c. vegetable oil 3 eggs Mix graham cracker crumbs, pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon and butter/butter together. Set aside. Blend DRY cake mix (DO NOT FOLLOW BOX DIRECTIONS), water, oil and eggs on low speed until moistened, then medium speed for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour 1/2 of batter into greased and floured 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 of reserved crumb mixture. Spread remaining batter evenly over crumb mixture; sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45-50 minutes. Cool. Drizzle cake with Vanilla Glaze (see below). VANILLA GLAZE: 1 c. powdered 10X sugar 2-3 tbsp. milk Mix together until desired consistency. Drizzle over cooled cake. |
