CAKE:

Boxed Devil's food cake

Use all ingredients asked for, except substitute equal amount of applesauce for oil.

ICING:

Sm. box instant vanilla pudding
1 c. milk
1/4 c. powdered sugar
Sm. container Cool Whip

Make cake according to directions on box.

Icing: Mix pudding, powdered sugar and milk until thick (use whisk). Fold in Cool Whip.
