1 stick butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa

Bring to a boil, remove from heat and add:

1 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 beaten eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda

Pour into 11 x 17 x 1 inch cookie sheet. Bake 20-22 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from oven and frost immediately with following frosting.

TEXAS SHEET CAKE FROSTING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk

Bring to a boil; remove from heat and add:

1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat well and spread over cake. Sprinkle with 1 cup chopped pecans.
