1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. water

Boil soft ball or threads on spoon.

1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar

Beat until stiff. Pour slowly into egg white topping. (Don't heat too hot and pour in slowly.)
