1 box spice, yellow or white cake mix 1 can fruit (crushed pineapple, sliced peaches, fruit cocktail or cherries) 1 stick butter 1 c. chopped nuts Cinnamon (optional) Into a small buttered baking pan (9x12) dump can of fruit, including juice. Sprinkle dry cake mix over fruit. Dot butter on top of cake mix, also nuts and cinnamon. Place in 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes. Cool, cut in squares. Serve topped with a cup of ice cream, Cool Whip or Dream Whip. |
