10 X 14 glass dish. FIRST LAYER: 1 c. butter (I use light butter) 1 c. finely chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans) 1 c. flour Mix above and press over bottom of dish. Bake at 350 degrees got 20 minutes. Cool. SECOND LAYER: 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese (lights fine) 1 lg. container of Cool Whip Mix these together and spread on above layer. THIRD LAYER: 3 c. milk (skim is fine) 3 sm. boxes instant lemon pudding mix 3 or more tsp. lemon juice Mix together and place on crream cheese layer. FOURTH LAYER: 1 lg. container Cool Whip 1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped nuts CHOCOLATE TORTE: For pudding layer (instead of lemon use 1 lg. box vanilla instant pudding, 1 lg. box chocolate instant pudding proceed as for lemon torte.: |
