1 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1 1/4 c. boiling water

Let soak for 10 minutes.

Add: 1 c. white sugar 1/2 c. salad oil (1/2 c. butter works also) 2 eggs

Blend well. Add: 1 tsp. soda 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes. Take out of oven and put on topping.

6 tbsp. melted butter
4 tbsp. cream
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. nutmeats

Place in broiler until topping is brown. Watch closely as topping burns easily.
