1 pkg. Duncan Hines Deluxe Double Chocolate cake mix
4 eggs
1 tbsp. oil
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. whipped topping
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease 13x9x2 pan. Reserve 1 cup cake mix for filling.
Crust: Combine remaining dry cake mix and 1 egg and the oil (mixture will be crumbly). Press crust mixture on bottom and 3/4 way up sides of pan.
Filling: Blend cream cheese, sugar, cocoa. Add 3 eggs and reserved cake mix. Beat for 1 minute at medium speed. Turn to low speed; add milk, vanilla gradually, beating until smooth. Turn filling into crust. Bake until center is firm. Cool. spread topping and shaved chocolate on top. Chill for at least one hour.
