1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1/2 pt. or 8 oz. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 can cherry pie filling
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Cream together the sugar and butter. Add the eggs one at a time. Beat in the sour cream and vanilla. Combine the flour, soda, and baking powder. Add to the batter alternately with the milk.
Pour half of the batter into lightly greased angel food pan. Spread the cherry pie filling over the batter. Add the remaining batter. Combine the 1/4 cup sugar, cinnamon, and nuts. Sprinkle over the batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Cool completely. Take the outside of the pan off. Serve on the pan bottom.
