2 sticks butter 1/2 c. cocoa 4 eggs 1 1/2 c. plain flour 2 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. pecans Dash of salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 pkg. sm. marshmallows Mix all ingredients well. Bake in oblong pan at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Pour 1 package miniature marshmallows over cake while hot. Follow with icing: Tip: Butter your fingers and push marshmallows down as much as you can, they will melt faster. MISSISSIPPI MUD ICING: 1 (1 lb.) pkg. powdered sugar 1/3 c. cocoa 1/2 stick butter 1/2 c. milk 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. pecans, optional Beat well and pour over marshmallows. When cold, cut in squares. |
