CHOCOLATE CARAMEL FUDGE CAKE
 

1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. melted butter
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 sm. pkg. chocolate chips
60 Kraft caramels
1/2 c. evaporated milk

Mix 1/3 cup milk with cake mix; add butter and nuts. Spread half of batter in 13x9-inch greased pan. Bake 8 minutes in 350 degree oven. While hot, sprinkle with chocolate chips and caramels, prepared by melting caramels and 1/2 cup milk. Top with other half of cake mix. Bake 18-20 minutes longer. Rich and delicious.
