PINEAPPLE ICE BOX CAKE
 

1/2 lb. vanilla wafers or butter cookies
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs, unbeaten
1 sm. (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained
1/2 pt. whipping cream

Grind wafers or roll into crumbs. Put half in bottom of pan. Cream butter and sugar. Add 1 egg and beat until smooth, then the other egg and beat until creamy. Pour over crumbs. Whip cream, add pineapple and pour over first mixture. Cover with rest of crumbs and put in refrigerator overnight. use 8 x 12 x 2-inch pan.
