1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream 3 egg whites 1 c. sugar 3 tbsp. water 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar 1/2 tsp. vanilla Few drops of red food color Combine marshmallow cream, egg whites, sugar, water and cream of tartar in top of double boiler. Mix, then beat with rotary beater over boiling water until mixture forms soft peaks. Add vanilla and food color to pale pink. Frosts 1 (10 inch) tube cake or two 9 inch layers. |
