DOLE GOLDEN LAZY CAKE
 

1 (20 oz.) can Dole crushed pineapple in juice
1 (8 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 pkg. (4 serving size) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen pound cake, thawed (can substitute pound cake from scratch)
1/3 c. almond flavored liqueur (1/3 c. pineapple juice & 1/2 tsp. almond extract)

Combine undrained pineapple, whipped topping and pudding mix. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut cake lengthwise in thirds. Drizzle with almond flavored juice. Spread 1/3 pudding mixture over bottom layer of cakes. Top with second layer. Repeat with next two layers. Chill 30 minutes. Optional Garnish: Dole sliced pineapple and 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted.
