1 c. plain flour 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. salad oil 1 egg, beaten 1 lg. Bermuda onions, cut into rings 2/3 c. beer
Make a batter of flour, salt, beer, oil and egg. Mix well. Dip onion rings into batter and fry in hot oil until brown. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
