2 tbsp. olive oil or butter 1/2 pt. cherry tomatoes, halved 1/4 tsp. dried basil or thyme Salt & freshly ground black pepper Place the olive oil or butter in a small heavy skillet and place over medium heat. Toss in the halved cherry tomatoes and a few pinches of dried basil or thyme. Saute, tossing now and then, for 3 to 4 minutes or until the tomatoes are just heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serves 2. |
