1 jar or can of sauerkraut
5 to 6 strips of bacon or bacon rind cup up
Pinch of pepper
1 or 2 potatoes

Empty sauerkraut into pot; add a little water; cook awhile with the bacon season with pepper. Grate a potato or two to thicken.
