2 c. fresh green beans, 1 inch pieces 2 med. carrots, cut into strips 1 med. onion, 1/4 inch slices 8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced 1/4 c. butter Salt, pepper, garlic salt Heat 1 inch water to boiling in 2 quart saucepan. Add beans and carrots. Cover and simmer about 10 minutes. In a 10 inch skillet, melt butter. Stir in onion and mushrooms. Cover 5 minutes. Add beans, carrots and spices. Heat 5 minutes. |
