DEEP FRIED CAULIFLOWER
 

1 head cauliflower cut into flowerettes; cooked in salted water
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. oil
1 egg, slightly beaten

Mix egg and oil. Gradually add flour and salt. Beat with beater until smooth. Dip cauliflower in batter and deep fry for 2 to 3 minutes in hot oil. This batter may be used for other vegetables, meat or fritters.
