CRISPY FRIED ONION RINGS
 

2 lg. onions
1 c. self-rising flour

Peel onion; cut into medium thick slices. Separate into rings. combine flour and enough water to make consistency of heavy cream. Dip each ring into batter; drain slightly. Fry in deep hot oil (375 degrees) until golden brown on both sides. Yields 6 servings.
