1 gallon sliced cucumbers, soak in cold water before slicing 3 onions, sliced thin 4 c. sugar 4 c. vinegar 1/2 c. salt 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric 1 1/3 tsp. celery seed 1 1/3 tsp. mustard seed Mix last 6 ingredients. Do not heat. Pour over cucumbers and onions. Refrigerate. Ready in 5 days. Keep refrigerated. Will keep 1 year. |
