1 lb. pkg. dried pea or navy beans 1 med. green pepper, chopped 1 med. onion, chopped 1/3 c. catsup 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/3 c. barbeque sauce 1 tsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. leaf basil 1 lb. fat back Soak beans overnight in 9 cups of water. Cook beans in water until softened. Drain and stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 12 hours. |
