1 med. onion, sliced thin 1 lg. (or 2 smaller) cucumbers, scrape stripes and slice thin 1/2 c. vinegar 5 tbsp. water 5 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt Ground pepper to taste Mix onion and cucumber. In separate bowl, mix vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and pepper. Pour over onions and cucumbers. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours before serving. |
