2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. shortening 2 eggs 1/3 c. milk Mix ingredients until well blended. Drop dough by a teaspoon measure into boiling water or beef or chicken broth. Place lid on pot, lower heat to keep broth at a medium boil. Boil 20 minutes. DO NOT LIFT LID because this will make a less tender dumpling. |
