3 c. bread cubes, lightly packed 3/4 c. melted butter 1 (15 oz.) can tomato puree 1 1/2 c. brown sugar Soak crumbs in butter. Combine puree and sugar in saucepan and cook 5 minutes. Add bread cubes to mixture. Place in 1-quart buttered casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 8. Very rich. |
