BREAKFAST CASSEROLE
 

8 slices white bread, crust removed, butter both sides, put in 9x13 pan
1 lb. bacon, diced & fried, sprinkle over bread
1 lg. onion, sauteed in a little bacon fat sprinkle over bread
8 oz. American or cheddar cheese, sprinkle over bread

Beat together in large bowl: 12 eggs, 2 cups milk, 1 teaspoon dry mustard, salt and pepper. Pour mixture over bread; cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
